Tony DiSpigna was born on the island of Ischia, Italy and is a graduate of New York City Community College and Pratt Institute. Tony was a partner in the legendary studio of Lubalin Associates where he worked on all aspects of visual communication and graphic design. Mr. DiSpigna has achieved international recognition for his letterform and typographic designs including exclusive newly designed corporate typefaces and logo designs. He has won numerous awards and his work has been widely exhibited in the United States and abroad. In 2007, he was honored with a one man show in Italy. He currently teaches at The New York Institute of Technology, and is a tenured professor at Pratt Institute where he was given the institute-wide Distinguished Professor Award in 1999.

Bill Hilson started his design career in architecture, then turned to graphic design and illustration for his professional focus. He has spent most of his career attempting to blur the line between technological innovation and creativity. He has been a group leader at the Creative Problem-Solving Institute, and was creative director for the HiFi Color Project – one of the first to experiment with stochastic screening and extra-trinary printing techniques. Bill is an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute’s Graduate Communication Design Department, serving since 1991.

Bill is a Founding Director of The Institute for Sustainable Communication, a 501(c)-3 organization devoted to promoting sustainability practices for business and industry.
